Varje verk börjar med en djup fascination för den byggda världen: det lager-på-lager-kaoset i en butiksfasad i Hongkong, den täta asiatiska gatubilden, de fantastiska strukturerna som bara existerar i utrymmet mellan arkitektur och dröm. Every piece begins with a deep fascination for the built world: the layered chaos of a Hong Kong shopfront, the density of an Asian streetscape, the fantastical structures that exist only in the space between architecture and dream. Trained as an architect and drawn to the mark-making traditions of East Asian ink art, each illustration is built line by line, detail by detail — a slow accumulation of marks that tries to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels to be inside it.
