Decidi abrir minha loja etsy alguns anos atrás depois de passar um dia na praia em uma saia que eu tinha feito. Eu tinha encontrado algum material algumas semanas antes do qual eu tinha me apaixonado pelo segundo que eu vi, era branco e tinha a Lagarta Muito Faminta por toda parte. Eu não usei um padrão quando eu fiz isso, eu só tinha uma ideia de como eu queria que ele parecesse e inventei como eu fui junto. Quando usei na praia, notei que muita gente estava olhando para ela. Então algumas pessoas vieram até mim, só para me dizer o quanto amavam minha saia. Algumas mulheres me perguntaram de onde tirei. Quando eu disse a eles que tinha feito isso eu mesmo eles pareciam bastante impressionados. Voltei à loja no dia seguinte para comprar mais material e fazer mais saias. Desde então eu fiz muito mais saias em muitos tecidos diferentes, mas o primeiro sempre será o meu favorito.

I decided to open my Etsy shop a few years ago after spending a day at the beach in a skirt I'd made. I'd found some material a few weeks before which I'd fallen in love with the second I saw it, it was white and had The Very Hungry Caterpillar all over it. I didn't use a pattern when I made it, I just had an idea of how I wanted it to look and made it up as I went along. When I wore it to the beach, I noticed a lot of people were looking at it. Then a few people came up to me, just to tell me how much they loved my skirt. A couple of women asked me where I got it from. When I told them I'd made it myself they seemed quite impressed. I went back to the shop the next day to buy more material and make more skirts. Since then I've made many more skirts in lots of different fabrics, but the first one will always be my favourite.
