Clean Hands. Literally and Legally
Jason Krumrai — Artist & Inventor
Jason Krumrai is an artist, inventor, and creative problem-solver whose work exists at the intersection of art, design, technology, and accessibility. Formally trained in Fine Art, Jason has worked in museums, galleries, hospitality, branding, and product design, developing a practice rooted in observation, experimentation, and making complex ideas tangible.
His inventive work began with the creation of the Gryp keychain, a product he developed independently and grew into an international product sold across all 50 U.S. states and 48 countries. Today, his work has evolved toward accessible technology, including the Blue Envelope ecosystem and NFC-enabled non-verbal accommodation tools designed to give people a simple, dignified way to communicate their needs.
Jason's artistic practice informs his inventions: he approaches everyday problems visually and intuitively, often turning overlooked experiences into physical objects, digital tools, and systems. Whether creating a painting, identity, product, or technology platform, Jason's work is guided by Taoist principles; the pursuit of balance, simplicity, natural flow, and harmony between people and their environment. Rather than forcing solutions onto the world, Jason looks for what is already there, observes where friction exists, and designs pathways that allow things to work more naturally.
