Siempre me ha encantado el arte y siempre he soñado con compartirlo para que otros disfruten de la misma alegría que siento al crear. Mi obra gira en torno a un patito especial, un personaje inspirado en una tierna broma privada entre mi marido y yo. Cuando nos mirábamos con enfado, parecíamos patos, y así nació "Kenduck".
A partir de ahí, Kenduck se convirtió en mi pequeño compañero: un patito que llevo conmigo a todas partes como llavero en el móvil. Como alguien que sufre de ansiedad, tener a Kenduck cerca me ayuda a mantener los pies en la tierra. Pasarle el pulgar por encima me reconforta y me tranquiliza.
A través de mi arte, espero que Kenduck pueda traerte un poco de alegría y consuelo también.
I’ve always loved art, and I’ve always dreamed of sharing it to bring others the same joy I feel while creating. My work centers around a special little duck — a character inspired by a sweet inside joke between my husband and me. When we’d pout at each other, we looked like ducks, and that’s how “Kenduck” was born.
From that, Kenduck became my tiny companion — a little duck friend I carry with me everywhere as a phone keychain. As someone who struggles with anxiety, having Kenduck close helps ground me. Running my thumb over the little duck brings comfort and calm.
Through my art, I hope Kenduck can bring you a bit of joy and comfort too.
