Quando ero un bambino non avevamo molti soldi. Avevo questo piccolo topo impagliato che ho chiamato Suzie. Dato che non avevamo una macchina da cucire né un filo e un ago, prendevo una scatola di fazzoletti e un pacchetto di spille e creavo ogni giorno nuovi disegni per Miss Suzie. Quel povero topo fu colpito con così tanti spilli un giorno che tutta la segatura cadde da lei. Ma grazie a lei è lì che tutto è iniziato.. Devo sentire la mancanza di Suzie Mouse per l'inizio della mia carriera di designer!
Sento il bisogno di essere creativo su base giornaliera, quindi lo trovo attraverso la progettazione di modelli, cucito, pittura, musica e cucina. Sono un vero buongustaio, è un ottimo modo per viaggiare per il mondo e lo faccio cucinando per i miei cari! Ho iniziato a scrivere un libro di cucina con le mie ricette, ma ci vorrà un po 'prima che sia fatto! Voglio aggiungerlo alla mia collezione di oltre 500 libri di cucina.. Sì, un po 'un accaparratore che sono. Hee hee.
Anche mio marito Jeff è un artista. Gli piace disegnare, dipingere, l'arte del cartone ed è un musicista di grande talento. Fa un malvagio Johnny Cash!. Ci siamo circondati di molti oggetti d'antiquariato e un sacco di giocattoli vintage! Direi che siamo entrambi bambini nel cuore ♥

When I was a young child we didn't have a lot of money. I had this little stuffed mouse who I named Suzie. Since we didn't have a sewing machine nor a thread and needle I would take a box of tissues and a package of stick pins and create new designs for Miss Suzie daily. That poor mouse was poked with so many pins one day all the sawdust fell out of her. But thanks to her that's where it all started..I owe it to miss Suzie Mouse for the beginning of my designing career!
I feel the need to be creative on a daily basis, so I find it through designing patterns, sewing, painting, music, and cooking. I'm a real foodie, it's a great way to travel the world and I do so by cooking for my loved ones! I started writing a cookbook with my own recipes, but it'll be awhile before it's done! I want to add it to my collection of over 500 cookbooks..yes a bit of a hoarder I am. Hee hee.
My husband Jeff is an artist too. He enjoys drawing, painting, cardboard art, and he's a very talented musician. He does a wicked Johnny Cash!. We have surrounded ourselves with many antiques and plenty of vintage toys! I'd say we're both kids at heart ♥
