4 out of 5 starsAfter the screwup with USPS both sets of knives were received. Seller stayed in contact and was very helpful. Knives are high quality and both my son’s were very pleased. My son’s said knives are extremely sharp and very well balanced. Engraving was very nice. Pleased with my purchase. Would recommend.

4 out of 5 starsMy husband loves this set of knives. The seem good quality, and are super sharp. Quality seems good. We'll see how they hold up after use. Customer service was quick to respond. However, shipping was horrible. I fail to see why, even in the holiday season, it took 3 weeks to get these to actually ship, instead of just sitting and waiting. Didn't like being told by customer service that it was the post office fault for no updates, only to find out that wasn't the case. When I contacted them, they said they were waiting for package from seller. Hopefully product is worth the wait.

Thank you for your message. I’m really glad to hear you liked the quality after cleaning them. Regarding the slimy coating — that is actually protective oil we apply to all our Damascus steel chef sets. Damascus steel is high-carbon and can rust if left dry during long shipping times, so we coat the blades with oil to protect them from moisture, humidity, and corrosion while in transit. A quick wash removes it completely, just like you did. If you ever need any care tips or help with your knives, feel free to message me anytime!
