My mom and I are sharing a new adventure.
Sono cresciuto andando a mostre di artigianato e mercatini delle pulci dove i miei nonni si preparavano per vendere i loro oggetti fatti a mano e oggetti d'antiquariato. A vent'anni non avevo alcun interesse per queste cose. Mia madre e mia zia hanno sempre decorato le loro case con oggetti vintage che alcuni potrebbero chiamare country, vintage o squallido. Ho sempre apprezzato l'arredamento più semplice e moderno. Quando ho trent'anni mi piaceva andare alle aste e alle mostre di artigianato e ho notato che il mio stile stava cambiando. Con l'incoraggiamento di mia madre, ora sto entrando in una nuova avventura nella vita.
Il mio negozio prende il nome da mia figlia di nove anni. All'età di 2 anni voleva spesso indossare calzini e vestiti abbinati e ha imparato a dire "Libby's Style" questo era prima che fissassero la vendita di pacchetti di calzini non corrispondenti nei negozi. Con gli eclettici oggetti vintage e artigianali fatti a mano nel mio negozio mi vengono in mente le parole "Libby's Style".

I grew up going to craft shows and flea markets where my grandparents would set up to sell their handmade items and antiques. In my twenties I had no interest in these things. My mom and aunt always decorated their homes with vintage items some may call it country, vintage or shabby. I always appreciated the more simple and modern décor. As I got into my thirties I enjoyed going to auctions and craft shows and noticed my style was changing. With my mom’s encouragement, I am now entering into a new adventure in life.
My shop is named after my nine year old daughter. At the age of 2 she would frequently want to wear miss matched socks and clothes and she learned to say “Libby’s Style” this was before they stared selling packages of mismatched socks at the stores. With the eclectic vintage and handmade crafts items in my store the words “Libby’s Style” come to my mind.
