Somos padres ante todo. Ahí es donde empezó todo.
No se trataba de un plan de negocios, sino de una tarde de domingo que no iba bien. Pantallas encendidas, mal humor y, más allá de la ventana, un mundo perfecto que se estaba echando a perder.
Little Mud Club comenzó en la mesa de la cocina, diseñado para nuestros propios hijos, en las tardes de entre semana después de que se fueran a dormir. Búsquedas del tesoro, juegos de naturaleza, tarjetas de aventuras familiares. Cosas que realmente queríamos usar. Lo suficientemente sencillas como para imprimirlas. Lo suficientemente abiertas como para que a los niños les interesaran.
Hemos pasado años al aire libre con los niños: haciendo senderismo, acampando, recorriendo en bicicleta lugares que jamás habrían formado parte de un itinerario familiar. Sabemos qué capta la atención de un niño en un sendero y qué no. Pero aun así, siempre nos quedábamos sin ideas al salir de casa. O sin energía. O ambas cosas. Queríamos algo que le diera un poco de forma a la tarde sin convertirla en un proyecto. Así que lo hicimos nosotros mismos.
No somos educadores de escuelas forestales. Simplemente somos personas que pasamos mucho tiempo al aire libre y queremos facilitarte a ti la posibilidad de hacer lo mismo.
Eso es Little Mud Club. Herramientas para esas tardes.

We're parents first. That's where this started.
Not with a business plan, but with a Sunday afternoon that wasn't going well. Screens on, mood off, and somewhere outside the window a perfectly good world going to waste.
Little Mud Club started at a kitchen table, designed for our own kids, on ordinary weekday evenings after bedtime. Scavenger hunts, nature games, family adventure cards. Things we actually wanted to use. Simple enough that you'd actually print them. Open-ended enough that the kids would actually care.
We've spent years outside with kids: hiking, camping, cycling through places that had no business being on a family itinerary. We know what holds a child's attention on a trail and what doesn't. But we still kept running out of ideas on the way out the door. Or energy. Or both. We wanted something that gave the afternoon a little shape without turning it into a project. So we made it ourselves.
We're not forest school educators. Just people who spend a lot of time outside and want to make it easier for you to do the same.
That's what Little Mud Club is. Tools for those afternoons.
