Bienvenido a Ljo-Flo
Soy un artista afincado en Whitby, en el norte de Yorkshire, donde la espectacular costa, la historia milenaria y el entorno de atmósfera maravillosa me proporcionan una fuente inagotable de inspiración.
Mi trabajo comenzó con la pintura acrílica fluida, permitiendo que el color, el movimiento y el azar crearan algo completamente individual. La colección Le Fay es la primera que se presenta aquí.
Surgió de la obra de arte original que creé para el álbum Le Fay de la cantautora Carrie Martin, un proyecto inspirado en Morgana le Fay, la mitología y el rico y misterioso mundo que rodea al álbum y su música.
He tomado elementos de esa obra de arte más allá de la portada del álbum para crear una colección de arte y objetos que incluye láminas, lienzos enmarcados, camisetas, posavasos y velas.
También está en camino una pieza muy especial: el colgante Corazón de Le Fay. Cada colgante contendrá un pequeño fragmento, seleccionado individualmente, de una obra de arte original de Ljo-Flo pintada a mano y protegida por un cristal, por lo que no habrá dos iguales.
Le Fay es solo el comienzo. Le seguirán otras colecciones de Ljo-Flo, incluyendo obras inspiradas en el paisaje de Whitby, la abadía, los ammonites y el azabache de Whitby.

Welcome to Ljo-Flo
I'm an artist based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, where the dramatic coastline, ancient history and wonderfully atmospheric surroundings provide an endless source of inspiration.
My work began with acrylic flow painting - allowing colour, movement and chance to create something completely individual. Over time, I've developed that into my own distinctive style, combining original painted artwork with detailed illustrative elements to create pieces inspired by places, stories, music and a touch of the mysterious.
The Le Fay Collection is the first collection to be showcased here.
It grew from the original artwork I created for singer-songwriter Carrie Martin's album, Le Fay - a project inspired by Morgana le Fay, mythology and the rich, mysterious world surrounding the album and its music.
I've taken elements of that artwork beyond the album sleeve to create a collection of art and objects including prints, framed canvas art, T-shirts, coasters and candles.
A very special piece is also on its way: The Le Fay Heart Pendant. Each pendant will contain a tiny, individually selected fragment of original hand-painted Ljo-Flo artwork beneath glass, so no two will ever be exactly alike.
Le Fay is just the beginning. Other Ljo-Flo collections will follow, including work inspired by Whitby's landscape, Abbey, ammonites and Whitby Jet.
