How long will it take to receive my order?

Because every item at Make it personal gift co is handcrafted to order, I process all requests in the order they are received.

•Production Time: 3 business days (often sooner!).

•Domestic Shipping (Australia): 1–7 business days.

•International Shipping: Varies by location.

How will my order be shipped?

I ship all orders via Australia Post to ensure your personalized gifts arrive safely.

Standard Shipping: All orders are sent via Standard Parcel Post.

Express Shipping: If you’re in a hurry, you can select the Express Post upgrade at checkout.

Tracking Included: Every order is sent with tracking. As soon as your gift is on its way, I will upload the tracking number to your Etsy dispatch notification so you can follow its journey.

Do you offer local pickup?

Unfortunately, I do not offer a pickup option for orders placed through Etsy.

To ensure that both you and your purchase are fully covered by Etsy’s Purchase Protection Program, all orders must be sent with a valid tracking number. This provides peace of mind and proof of delivery for everyone involved!

Need it fast?
If you are located in the Sydney Metro area, I recommend choosing the Express Post upgrade at checkout. Once dispatched, Express items are generally delivered the next business day, making it the quickest and safest way to get your gift.

Please note: Local pickup is an exclusive option available only for orders placed directly via our official website.

Help! My shipping address is incorrect

If your address is incorrect, please message me immediately.

If your order HAS NOT shipped:
To maintain Etsy Purchase Protection, I cannot manually edit addresses. Please:

•Place a new order with the correct shipping details.

•Message me both order numbers.

•I will then cancel and fully refund your original order.

If your order HAS already shipped:
I cannot redirect parcels once they are with Australia Post.

•Returned to me: I can resend to the correct address, but a re-shipping fee will apply.

•Delivered to the address provided: I cannot offer a refund or replacement. A new order with correct details will be required.

Help! My item appears to be lost in transit

I pack every gift with care, but if damage occurs in transit, please notify me via Etsy within 36 hours of delivery.

Australia Post Claim Process:
Per AusPost policy, the recipient must lodge the claim directly:

•Keep Everything: Retain the item, original box, and all internal padding.

•In-Person Inspection: Take the item and all packaging to your local Post Office to complete a claim form.

•Compensation: Insurance payouts are issued directly to you as the addressee.

How I can help:
•Please send me clear photos of the damage and packaging immediately. I will provide the postage receipts you need to support your claim.

Help! My order arrived damaged

I pack every gift with care, but if damage occurs during transit, please notify me via Etsy within 36 hours of delivery.

Do you send a digital proof before making my order?

To keep my turnaround times fast and my prices as affordable as possible, I do not send digital proofs as part of a standard order. Because I specialize in personalized gifts, I move straight into the creation phase to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible.

If you would like a digital proof:
I am more than happy to provide one as a custom service!

The Fee: A digital proof can be added to your order for a fee of $10 AUD.

What’s Included: This fee covers one (1) digital proof of your design. Please note that additional revisions or further proofs will incur extra charges.

How to Order: If you require a proof, please message me before placing your order so I can set up a custom listing for you.

Custom and personalised orders

We create your item exactly as entered at checkout. To ensure your gift is perfect, please follow these steps:

Accuracy: Double-check all spelling and dates. As this is a bespoke product, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for buyer typos or input errors.

Styling: We handle layout and font size for a high-end look. Note: Text entered in ALL CAPS will be adjusted to standard capitalization.

Separators & Spaces: Please use clear separators ( / ) and spaces between each detail you provide in the personalisation field.

Example: 21 / Abbey / Twenty One / 14.05.2026
