Brigitte - the story of two generations
Brigitte är handgjorda accessoarer som skapats av två generationer, så dubbelt så mycket kärlek, uppmärksamhet och omsorg har lagts ner på dem. Brigittes team består av mig - Brigita och min älskade mormor - Teresė.
När jag letade efter en aktivitet som jag skulle älska upptäckte jag virknålar, d.v.s. jag ser på dem på ett annat sätt nu än jag gjorde när jag gick i skolan. Virkning ger mig möjlighet att uttrycka mig själv och förverkliga de idéer jag har. Jag har alltid känt att jag dras till aktiviteter som kan hjälpa mig att uttrycka mig själv på ett kreativt sätt, så när jag upptäckte virkade handväskor insåg jag snart att det inte bara kommer att glädja mig personligen, utan även någon annan!
Jag är väldigt glad att virkningen inte bara låter mig uttrycka mig själv utan också för mig samman med min mormor. Hon är fantastisk på att sätta sista handen och detaljerna på handväskorna vilket kompletterar slutprodukten.
Min mormor är skräddare. Hon har enorm erfarenhet och förser mig med de finaste specialsydda kläderna som uppfyller alla mina önskningar (om möjligt). Jag vet att jag är oerhört lyckligt lottad att hon vägleder mig, ger råd, hjälper och stödjer mig på denna resa mot självförverkligande.
Brigitte is handmade accessories that are created by two generations, so twice as much love, attention and care have been put into them. Brigitte's team consists of me - Brigita and my beloved grandmother - Teresė.
While looking for an activity that I would love, I discovered crochet hooks, i.e. I look at them in a different way now than I did when I was at school. Crocheting gives me the opportunity to express myself and bring the ideas that I have to life. I always felt that I'm being drawn towards activities which can help express myself in a creative way, thus in discovering crochet handbags, I soon realised that it will not only bring joy to me personally, but to somebody else as well!
I'm very happy that crocheting not only allows my self-expression but also brings me together with my grandma. She's amazing at putting the finishing touches and accents to the handbags which complements the final product.
My grandmother is a tailor. She has immense experience and provides me with the fanciest custom made clothes fulfilling all my wishes (if possible). I know that I am extremely lucky that she guides me, gives advice, helps and supports on this journey of self-realization.
