Matome Collection se fundó en 2025 en Takasaki, prefectura de Gunma, fruto de la pasión por la papelería y la sensación de descubrir una nueva afición o interés. Creemos que la sensación de descubrir una nueva afición o pasión y entregarse a ella con total libertad es maravillosa, y esperamos que otros sientan la misma satisfacción y descubrimiento. También apreciamos profundamente la artesanía tradicional y artesanal, y nos esforzamos por ayudar a otros a descubrir y disfrutar del rico patrimonio cultural japonés que estas artesanías crean, integrando sus ideas y materiales en nuestros bolígrafos. Si bien nuestros productos se fabrican con orgullo en Japón, el fundador es originario de Canadá, tras mudarse a Japón en su juventud y establecerse aquí definitivamente.
Matome Collection was founded in 2025 in Takasaki, Gunma prefecture, out of a love for stationery and the feeling of discovering a new hobby or interest. We think the feeling one gets when discovering a new hobby or passion and throwing yourself at it with reckless abandon is a wonderful feeling, and we hope we can make others feel this same sense of satisfaction and discovery. We have a deep appreciation for handcrafted, traditional artisans and crafts as well, and we strive to help others discover and enjoy the rich cultural heritage of Japan that these crafts create and integrate their ideas and materials into our pens. While our products are proudly made in Japan, the founder is originally from Canada, having moved to Japan later in life and settled here permanently.
