Hey there, I'm Brittany and I am the founder and designer of Metamorphosis Design Studio where I create handmade. personalized jewelry, accessories and gifts customized by YOU. I personally handcraft & design all of the pieces in my home studio in a very small rural town called Currie in eastern North Carolina. We are right outside of Wilmington NC but if you blink when passing by, you will surely miss our little town. ;) When I am not creating jewelry, you will find us taking care of our small family farm where we raise Jersey dairy cows, chickens, and heritage breed pigs. By far my favorite part of the farm is the close relationship that I share with my cows. Milking and caring for them is such a rewarding experience. As crazy as it may sound, they have truly become some of my best friends. If you ever have a chance to be around a dairy cow please don't pass that opportunity by. You will not regret it. :)
By trade I am a licensed cosmetologist and creativity has always been my passion. In 2011, needing extra income but knowing in my heart that homeschooling was what was best for our family, I took a huge leap of faith and opened this shop here on Etsy. My hope was that I could do what I love, share my love and creativity with you and be able to stay at home and homeschool my 4 year old little boy, all at the same time. Fast forward 9 years and what an incredible journey this has been. I have had the privilege and honor to create heartfelt pieces for the most incredible people. Those that are celebrating the happiest moments and memories. And at the same time I have cried and prayed over pieces I have made for so many hurting hearts who have lost someone that meant the world to them. I take very seriously that you have entrusted me to create a special piece that you will cherish for a lifetime. My hope is that in every piece I create, you will see and feel the love and care that I have put into it. ❤︎
