Ich habe mir mein Geschäft vor sechs Jahren ausgedacht, als ich in Los Angeles überarbeitet und unterbezahlt war. Letzten Sommer verließen mein Mann und ich den Trubel von L.A. und zogen in die ruhige ländliche Gegend Neuenglands – und wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Das gab mir die Möglichkeit, mein Kunstgeschäft in der ausgebauten Ecke unseres Kellers zu starten :) Ich bin von Beruf Schriftstellerin und bin aus der Not heraus zum Illustrieren gekommen. Im Frühjahr 2025 begann ich, meine Kunst auf Instagram zu bewerben, was mir meinen ersten Illustrationsauftrag einbrachte, und jetzt entwerfe und produziere ich meine eigenen Häkelplüschtiere. Mit der Zeit möchte ich immer mehr Figuren aus meinen Originalgeschichten in meine Kunst und meine Häkeldesigns integrieren, je näher meine Bücher der Veröffentlichung kommen. Ich hoffe, ihr bleibt dran, um zu sehen, was als Nächstes kommt! <3

I dreamt up my business 6 years ago while I was overworked and underpaid in Los Angeles. Last summer my husband and I left the hustle and bustle of LA for the quiet of rural New England, and we couldn’t be happier. This gave me the opportunity to start my art business out of the finished corner of our basement :) I am a writer by trade, and got into illustrating out of necessity. I began promoting my art on Instagram in spring of 2025 which landed me my first commissioned illustration gig, and now I am branching out into designing and producing my own crochet plushies. Over time I intend to include more and more characters from my original stories into my art and crochet designs as my books get closer to publication. I hope you stick around for what’s next! <3
