I've loved old things for as long as I can remember - from yard saling with my mother as child to wandering thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales and even free piles today.
I'm drawn to chipped pain, aged brass and other metals, weathered wood, moody old paintings, and objects that show the life they've lived. What others might see as imperfections often make something even more beautiful to me.
Over time, my home has become a scrapbook of pieces, places, and memories collected along the way, each object carrying it's own history and story before finding its way here.
The Moonlighting Picker grew from a love of rescuing overlooked treasures and helping beautiful old things find another chapter and another home. While vintage reselling began as a hobby, it has slowly become something much more meaningful: a way to share the beauty, warmth, and soul of collected old things with others who love them too.
