Hi! I’m Maialen, the graphic designer and illustrator behind Morroska, an independent shop based in San Sebastián, in the Basque Country, Spain.
Morroska started from my love for illustration, stationery, dogs and all those little things that make everyday life more fun.
I create my illustrations digitally, mainly using Adobe Illustrator, and turn them into prints, stickers, tote bags and other everyday objects.
A big source of inspiration is my dog Muxu, a little poodle who has become one of the main characters of Morroska. I love drawing her personality and turning those little moments into things you can keep, use or give to someone.
I also love discovering independent artists and small brands with their own unique visual language, which is why Morroska is gradually becoming a space for illustration, stationery and carefully chosen creative products.
Everything starts with an illustration, a bit of curiosity and, quite often, a dog.
