Ich beschloss, dass ich eine Tasche mit im Grunde dem gleichen "Fußabdruck" einer großen Tasche machen würde, ABER ich habe nicht die Oberseite der Tasche hinzugefügt! About the same time, I started making grocery bags. I started with a simple grocery bag made out of fabric. I prefer soft fabrics that are comfortable to the touch. Upholstery fabrics and faux fur are my favorite. When I decided to line them, this opened up a whole new world of matching linings with the exterior fabric and I fell in love with colors, textures and functionality. This led to designing new bag styles. I adore animal fabrics and rarely do I make any 2 bags the same. Each bag is carefully planned to match the lining, pockets and straps.
My most popular bag is THE TOPLESS BAG. It even has its own domain! I see a lot of women who carry large bags, which I also make. When they need something from their bag, they are seen scrounging around in their bag, where it is dark, to find the desired item.
I decided that I would make a bag with basically the same “footprint” of a large bag BUT I did not add the top of the bag! The Topless Bag has shorter straps so you can carry it on your shoulder and the bag gets nestled under your arm pit, which makes it an ergonomically correct “fit”, according to my physical therapist friend. The outside pocket is for your phone so when this bag is in your arm pit, you can quickly grab your phone and your bag is protected too. No one can snatch this bag! When you open your Topless Bag, it falls open and everything in your bag can be seen and it is no longer in the dark.
