Bienvenido a Nash y Duff dirigido por mí, Lily Nash, una diseñadora independiente con sede en Dartmouth, Devon, en la costa sur de Inglaterra.
La inspiración proviene de una vida vivida junto al mar, nací en una familia creativa con mi madre costurera y mi padre un constructor de barcos de madera tradicional. Pasé la mayor parte de mi infancia en el astillero con él jugando con la madera y recreando con cueros de repuesto y tela de vela. Luego pasé a ayudarlo en los barcos. El estilo clásico y atemporal de los barcos de mi padre ha inspirado especialmente mi trabajo. En estos días prefiero estar en el calor de mi estudio siguiendo más los pasos de mi madre mientras soy madre de mis dos hijas pequeñas Dot y Bee.
Decoración minimalista, líneas limpias y materiales de muy alta calidad a la vez que asequibles es el sello distintivo de Nash y Duff. Cada pieza es creada a mano, una a la vez por mí mismo.
Welcome to Nash and Duff run by me, Lily Nash an independent designer based in Dartmouth, Devon on the south coast of England
Inspiration comes from a life lived by the sea, I was born into a creative family with my mother a seamstress and my father a traditional wooden boat builder. I spent most my childhood in the boat yard with him playing with wood and recreating with spare leathers and sail cloth. I then went on to helping him out on the boats. The classic timeless style of my fathers boats have especially inspired my work. These days I much prefer to be in the warmth of my studio following more in my mothers footsteps whilst mothering my two young daughters Dot and Bee.
Minimal decoration, clean lines and very high quality materials whilst being affordable is the hallmark of Nash and Duff. Each piece is created by hand, one at a time by myself.
