While these pieces are all handcrafted with care and love, they are delicate and should be treated as such. Some tarnishing over time can be expected, but since these are either sterling or gold plated over sterling, a polishing cloth (like a Sunshine cloth) will help restore original luster. Care is recommended especially with the longer necklaces so as to avoid snagging on hair or clothing. We all like shiny things -- babies included -- and these will likely not hold up well to a little one's tenacious grasp. For best results, minimize exposure to water and avoid sleeping in these.

After I make the piece, I energetically cleanse it either via setting it on selenite, or via a smoke bath with white sage or palo santo. I then reiki it to lock in positive energy and ensure it arrives to the recipient clear of any inappropriate energies it may have picked up anywhere in the production chain. All items come in a branded kraft jewelry box with the NectarLight logo stamped on top in a wax seal -- ready for gift giving! I do not add a receipt or purchasing list to the order since those are readily found in your Etsy account.

Gold vermeil is sterling silver plated in gold. In the U.S. to qualify as vermeil, the layer of gold must be at least 2.5 microns thick and have a sterling base. All findings and bezel set stones I use are gold vermeil (unless otherwise noted), and the chain I use is either plated in 18K or 22K, depending on the link size (the slightly larger, 2mm links receive the 22K). Since it is plated over sterling, the quality is higher than many other "gold fill" products that are a layer of gold over brass or another base metal.

In a market that is saturated with fake semi-precious stones, I strive to ensure I am giving my customers genuine, semi-precious stones mined from the earth and not created in a lab. Many dealers can get away with calling a stone "natural" when it's really something called "enhydro", which is basically colored glass. They can do this because the molecular structure will match that of a truly natural stone, but it will be missing any and all natural variations that make a stone unique and interesting, as well as the vibrational signature of a natural stone. In my opinion, these "stones" do not have the healing properties associated with true semi-precious stones and I do my best to avoid them, and to avoid passing them on to you.

In the unfortunate event your piece requires a repair, I will gladly repair any item free of charge within 2 weeks of purchase. After that, I will repair items that are able to be repaired, with a nominal charge and on a case-by-case basis. Please convo me for more details on that.
