Omdat ik inmiddels zeventig ben, is het tijd om mijn wereldwijde postzegelverzamelingen en andere verzamelobjecten te verkopen.
As I am now a septuagenarian it is time to sell my worldwide stamp collections and other collectable items.
Er was eens een jonge jongen/tiener wiens vader toegang had tot nieuwe gebruikte postzegels op geposte enveloppen en pakketten. Ze kwamen van over de hele wereld naar zijn bureau. Hij nam ze mee naar huis en voegde ze toe aan een verzameling, nadat hij de jongere had laten zien hoe hij ze moest verwerken zodat ze geschikt waren voor verzameling. Gefascineerd door de veelheid aan verschillende ontwerpen, kleuren, talen, geschiedenis en landen waar ze vandaan kwamen, onderwezen ze die jongere op manieren die geen enkele school ooit zou kunnen bereiken.
Terwijl die jongeman volwassen werd, verdween de fascinatie nooit. Naast de opleiding begon hij de processen te begrijpen waarmee die postzegels werden geproduceerd en hoe ze door de post werden verwerkt. Uiteindelijk kon hij zichzelf een filatelist noemen.
Snel door naar mijn pensioen. 60 jaar verzamelen betekent dat ik nu een enorme verzameling en accumulatie van postzegels in mijn bezit heb - van bijna elk land dat bestaat of ooit postzegels heeft geproduceerd. Het is nu tijd om die verzamelde filatelistische overvloed door te geven aan degenen die het verzamelen van postzegels ook een fascinerende hobby vinden of om pakketten met soortgelijke postzegels te produceren voor ambachtslieden om artistieke items te maken waar anderen van kunnen genieten.
Omdat de collecties zo groot zijn, moet ik deze onderneming als groothandel opstarten totdat de collectie zo groot is dat ik de postzegels op de enveloppen nog kan zien!
Ik ben een zeventiger. De tijd dringt. Als ze weg zijn, zijn ze weg. Net zoals ik ooit zal zijn.
Later ontwikkelde ik een verzamelgewoonte voor andere items, voornamelijk van Japanse origine. Ook deze worden te koop aangeboden - van TCG's tot game discs, tot kunst en kleding + anderen.
Duik in de aanbiedingen die ik heb gepresenteerd. Als u een bepaald item of items hebt die u nodig hebt om een bepaald aspect van uw collectie aan te vullen, of als u specifieke kleuren nodig hebt voor een kunstproject, dan probeer ik graag aan uw behoefte te voldoen.

Once upon a time there was a young boy/teenager whose father had access to new used stamps on posted envelopes and packages. They arrived at his desk from across the globe. He would bring them home and add them to a collection, after showing the young person how to process them so they were suitable for collection. Fascinated by the multitude of different designs, colours, languages, history and countries they emanated from, they educated that young person in ways that no schooling could ever achieve.
As that young person grew into adulthood the fascination never subsided. Beyond the education he started to understand the processes by which those stamps were produced and how they were processed through the post. Eventually he could call himself a philatelist.
Fast forward to retirement. 60 years of collecting means that a huge collection and accumulation of stamps is now in my possession - from almost every country that exists or has ever produced stamp issues. It is now time to pass on that accumulated philatelic cornucopia to those that also find collecting stamps to be a fascinating hobby or to produce packs of similar stamps for crafters to make artistic items for others to enjoy.
Because the collections are so vast I have to undertake this venture as a wholesale business until such time as it is depleted sufficiently for me to be able to see the stamps from the envelopes!
