Una sonrisa es todo lo que importa en la vida, por eso pinto, para traer una sonrisa en tu cara :-)

¿Alguna vez has visto a un grupo de lindos conejitos saltando bajo el sol de la mañana en la naturaleza? ¿Un gatito aprendiendo a ir a "cazar"? ¿Un perro siguiéndote a donde quiera que vayas, esperándote hasta cuando vuelvas y saludándote con sus ojos grandes y confiados?
Entonces entenderás lo que siento al comenzar con el primer trazo de cualquier pintura nueva. Pienso en estas adorables pequeñas criaturas y solo tengo que empezar a sonreír. Los animales interactúan naturalmente con las personas y traen alegría a nuestras vidas. E incluso solo ver a un grupo de animales desde muy lejos no podría ser más agradable.
Tu mascota se conecta contigo. ¿Te sientes feliz y caminas cantando? Tu mascota notará que eres feliz, tal vez incluso haga algunas pequeñas acrobacias locas por sí misma. ¿Te sientes deprimido después de una larga jornada laboral? Tu mascota vendrá a ti y de alguna manera entenderá por lo que pasas y te animará de nuevo.
Al aplicar los colores en el lienzo, tengo todos estos dulces recuerdos en mi mente. Con cada golpe, mi animal gana personalidad. Siempre acompañado de un elemento completo. Como una fruta, verdura o caramelo. Una vez terminado me alejo y sobre todo... tienen que sonreír.
Luego muestro la pintura a mis mejores amigos, y si veo una pequeña sonrisa revoloteando en sus rostros, sé que hice lo correcto. Eso es lo que me mantiene en marcha.

Have you ever watched a group of cute bunnies jumping around in the morning sun in nature? A kitty learning how to go “hunting”? A dog following you wherever you go, waiting for you until whenever you are back and greeting you with its big, trusting eyes?
Then you will understand what I feel when starting with the first stroke of any new painting. I think of these adorable little creatures and just have to start smiling. Animals naturally interact with people and bring joy to our lives. And even just watching a group of animals from far away couldn’t be more pleasing.
Your pet connects with you. Feeling happy and walking around singing? Your pet will notice that you are happy, maybe even do some crazy little stunts by itself. Feeling down after a long working day? Your pet will come to you and somehow understands what you go through and cheer you up again.
When applying the colors on the canvas, I have all these sweet memories in my mind. With each stroke, my animal wins personality. Always accompanied by a completing element. Like a fruit, vegetable or candy. Once finished I step away and mostly…have to smile.
I then show the painting to my best friends, and if I see a tiny smile flitting across their faces, I know I did right. That’s what keeps me going.
