Siempre he sido un artesano de un tipo u otro, pero el atractivo del papel siempre ha sido potente-elegante papelería hace que mi corazón se ponga nervioso, el encanto de un libro bellamente encuadernado es irresistible, y ni siquiera me hagas empezar con el cartulina... ¡desmayo! Mi trabajo "diario" es enseñar inglés en la escuela secundaria, pero mis tardes y fines de semana los paso abrazando a la musa creativa en mi sereno retiro temático de playa en mi sótano. La artesanía me lleva a mi lugar feliz, de ahí el nombre de PaperELATION. Desde que comencé mi viaje como "artesano local", he refinado mis técnicas, he aprendido muchas nuevas y continúo explorando nuevos enfoques para manifestar mi amor por el papel en objetos hermosos, alegres y artísticos. Estoy eufórico de compartir mis creaciones y espero que te traigan tanta alegría como me traen a mí mientras las hago.
I've always been a crafter of one type or another, but the lure of paper has always been potent-elegant stationary makes my heart go pitter-patter, the allure of a beautifully bound book is irresistible, and don't even get me started on card stock...swoon! My “day” job is teaching high school English, but my evenings and weekends are spent embracing the creative muse in my serene beach themed retreat in my basement. Crafting takes me to my happy place, hence the name PaperELATION. Since my journey began as a “local artisan,” I’ve refined my techniques, learned many new ones, and continue to explore new approaches to manifesting my love for paper into beautiful, joyful, artistic objects. I'm elated to share my creations and I hope they bring you as much joy as they bring me while making them.
