Authentic Handmade Pakistani Carpets — Crafted by Skilled Artisans in Peshawar, Shipped Worldwide
Welcome to PeshawarLoom — and thank you for taking the time to learn about us.
We are a small business based in Peshawar, Pakistan, specialising in 100% handmade carpets and rugs crafted using centuries-old traditional weaving techniques. Every carpet in our shop is made entirely by hand — from the first knot to the last finishing touch — by skilled artisans who have dedicated their lives to this beautiful craft.
🧵 Our Story
Carpet weaving is not just a business for us — it is a tradition passed down through generations. Peshawar is one of the most famous carpet-making cities in the world, and our artisans carry that proud tradition forward with passion and skill. Each carpet takes weeks of careful handwork to complete — making every piece a genuine work of art.
We started selling on Etsy because we wanted to share the beauty of authentic Pakistani handmade carpets with people around the world. We believe a truly handmade carpet — made with skill, care and quality materials — deserves to be in homes everywhere.
🪡 How Our Carpets Are Made
Every carpet begins with carefully selected premium wool, chosen for its softness, durability and natural lustre. Our artisans then hand-knot each carpet on a traditional loom — tying every single knot individually by hand. This process requires enormous skill and patience, but the result is a carpet of exceptional quality that will last for generations.
Our Bokhara carpets feature the classic geometric Gul motifs that Peshawar and Pakistan are world-famous for — rich intricate patterns in deep burgundy, ivory, navy blue and olive green that look stunning in any home.
