At PlankLabs, we have designed and sell various types of ESP32-based devices enclosed in custom, 3D printed housings. I enjoy tinkering with these devices and experimenting with their many versatile uses. Now, I am offering some of my favorite creations for sale.
Standard features for the devices I sell include:
- A fully assembled device, tested with validated firmware.
- A dedicated, 3D printed housing.
- A streamlined captive portal experience for seamless WiFi and localized setup.
- Standard Over-the-Air (OTA) Firmware Updates. This means, when necessary, your device will receive updates, optimizations, and new features automatically.

About Our Connected Devices — Please Read
Many PlankLabs devices rely on live data delivered over the internet from third-party sources that are outside our control.
We're committed to keeping our devices working and will make every reasonable effort to maintain them well into the future. However, we cannot guarantee that these third-party data sources will remain freely available indefinitely. If a source is discontinued, restricts access, or otherwise becomes unavailable, and PlankLabs is unable to secure a suitable replacement, some or all of a device's features may stop working.
By purchasing from PlankLabs, you acknowledge and accept this risk. We cannot be held responsible for loss of functionality resulting from changes to third-party data sources beyond our control.
All data is provided "as-is" for general informational and novelty use only, and should not be relied upon for navigation, emergencies, or any safety-critical purpose. Always consult official sources for critical information.
The device hardware is always yours to keep, and we'll never stop doing our best to keep the data flowing.

━━━ Returns & Warranty ━━━
Returns are accepted within seven days of delivery. For change-of-mind returns, the buyer covers return shipping and is responsible for any loss in value if the unit isn't sent back in original condition. Exchanges aren't offered.
Unit defective? That's on me. Every unit is backed by a 90-day warranty covering defects and hardware/firmware failures (it does not cover physical damage or liquid exposure). If your unit fails within 90 days, here's the process:
- Message me so we can confirm the unit is defective.
- I'll send you prepaid return postage through Etsy.
- Send the unit back with everything included.
- Once I've received and inspected it, I'll issue a full refund — typically within one business day.
- You're then welcome to re-order anytime if you'd still like one.
