About me and my shop
Hello there and welcome to my Etsy shop! I am an illustrator and pattern surface designer based in chilly but beautiful Minneapolis, MN, United States. I am greatly inspired by nature, vintage children's books, fables and faery tales.
My work is done out of a sunny room in my home, located in the sweet neighborhood of south Minneapolis. My husband and I own a tiny 1 bedroom house with a large garden of flowers and veggies. Our house is located several blocks from a beautiful wooded area, where I go on many a walk, run or bicycle ride, to gather inspiration throughout the seasons. I strive to create work that is emotional and connects people with their own pasts.
Much of my work is based in nature, animals and human subjects. I love connecting all three elements, creating a playful and often vintage-inspired look. I primarily paint using a muted and aged color palette, creating work that looks like an old print discovered in grandma's attic.
My main focus is working with clients in the quilting, home, apparel, and paper industries, creating custom graphics and repeat prints to use in mass product development. My Etsy shop allows me to create imagery that is close to my heart and provides a platform to share it with you!
