De Amun: Llevo trabajando con mi asistente humano haciendo lecturas de tarot y oráculos desde 2016. Mi asistente humano lleva haciendo lecturas de tarot a amigos cercanos desde 2005; empezó a hacer lecturas para otras personas cuando se dio cuenta de que tenía talento para conectar con gente a la que los lectores de tarot normales no podían predecir con precisión.
Descubrí mi talento un día cuando mi humano extendió unas cartas, ¡y me revolqué entre ellas! Luego señalé las más importantes, pero mi humano no me hizo caso. Después de repetirlo varias veces, finalmente lo entendió. Entonces me pidió que le ayudara con las lecturas. Mi humano también pinta y hace manualidades, ¡y ahora también le ayudo con eso! ¡Todos nuestros artículos hechos a mano son bendecidos por mí en algún momento de su elaboración! Soy un gato de lo más peculiar.
De la persona que lo recuerda: A las 9:45 p. m. CST del 30 de octubre de 2025, Amun falleció rodeado de sus seres queridos mientras recibía caricias. Lo adopté en agosto de 2016, cuando ya tenía 6 años; había estado en un refugio de animales durante 6 meses sin ser adoptado. Le tenía pánico a los niños y a otras personas; yo era la única persona a la que se acercaba. En su primera visita al veterinario, me dijeron que estaba muy enfermo y que solo le quedaba un año de vida. Todas las ganancias de nuestra tienda de Etsy se destinaron a pagar su tratamiento médico y su comida; gracias al tratamiento, vivió 8 años más de lo previsto, y todo gracias a cada uno de nuestros maravillosos clientes. Me alegra mucho que Amun haya tenido la oportunidad de tocar sus vidas y espero que lo hayan considerado una bendición tanto como yo. Amun fue profundamente amado y lo extrañaremos muchísimo. Sí, mi pareja y yo seguimos gestionando la tienda en memoria de Amun. Aunque no es lo mismo sin él, sentimos que no querría que dejáramos de ayudar a la gente ni de apoyar a quienes lo necesitan solo porque ya no está aquí para guiarnos. Algún día tendremos otro gato, pero nadie podrá reemplazar a Amun. Mientras tanto, ahora que he terminado de pagar su factura médica (¡y la preciosa urna hecha por Barruntando Ceramics, otra vendedora de Etsy que recomiendo encarecidamente!), todas nuestras ganancias se destinarán a PetSmart Charities y a los refugios de animales locales.
From Amun: I've been working with my human assistant doing tarot and oracle readings since 2016. My human assistant has been doing tarot readings for close friends since 2005; the human started doing readings for others when they realized they had a talent for connecting with people normal tarot readers couldn't accurately predict for.
I realized my talent when one day the human laid out some cards, so I rolled around in them! Then I pointed out the most important ones, but the human didn't listen to me. After doing this several different times, the human finally understood. So the human asked me to help with readings. My human also paints and makes things, and now I help with that too! All of our hand-crafted items are blessed by me at some point during their production! I truly am a random cat.
From the human: At 9:45pm CST on October 30, 2025, Amun passed away, surrounded by his closest loved ones while being gently petted. I adopted him in August 2016 when he was already 6yrs old; he'd sat in an animal shelter for 6 months without being adopted. He was terrified of children and other people, I was the only person he would come up to. On his first vet visit I was told he was very sick and only had 1yr left to live. All the proceeds from our Etsy shop went to paying for his medical treatment and food; with treatment he lived 8 good quality years longer than predicted--and it's thanks to each and every one of our wonderful customers. I'm so glad Amun had the opportunity to touch all of your lives, and hope you found him to be as much of a blessing as I did. Amun was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Thank you all for everything.
Yes, my spouse and I are still running the shop in Amun's memory. Even though it's not the same without him, we felt that he wouldn't want us to give up on helping people or stop being there for those in need just because he was no longer here to guide us. We'll get another cat eventually, but no one can ever replace Amun. In the meantime, now that I've finished paying off his final medical bill (and the beautiful urn made by fellow Etsy seller Barruntando Ceramics--which I highly recommend!), all our proceeds are going to PetSmart Charities and our local animal shelters.
