Hola, mi nombre es Michaela Midgley y soy la propietaria, diseñadora y creadora detrás de RealmsEnd. Vivo en el corazón de Inglaterra en un pequeño pueblo llamado Weston on Trent. Mi padre era ingeniero, así que crecí en un hogar muy creativo, con mucho bricolaje. Después de terminar la escuela trabajé como peluquero durante casi seis años antes de irme a montar una tienda. Me encantó la creatividad que venía con la peluquería, sin embargo, ya no era adecuada para mí.
Recientemente había agregado mi primera rasta y acababa de entrar en el mundo mágico de los accesorios de rastas. Me encontré con algunas joyas de rastas increíblemente hermosas que me inspiraron a comenzar a hacer las mías. Al principio también estaba haciendo perchas de plantas de macramé y pintando piedras, pero rápidamente gravité hacia la fabricación de accesorios de rastas. Me encantó la idea de que simplemente podía doblar el cable en la forma que quisiera, ¡las posibilidades eran infinitas! Después de unas semanas de apertura, RealmsEnd tuvo su primera venta. Ejecutar RealmsEnd ha sido un viaje increíble con lecciones que aprender y obstáculos que superar. Pero gracias a todo el increíble apoyo y comentarios maravillosamente amables, he disfrutado cada paso.
¡Ahora mi única rasta se ha convertido en ocho bellezas perfectamente imperfectas! Me encanta estar en la naturaleza y hacer que cada cuenta se siente en mi escritorio con una maravillosa vista natural. RealmsEnd ha estado funcionando durante más de tres años, ha enviado más de 2000 accesorios de rastas a personas únicas de todo el mundo y ha obtenido más de 250 reseñas de cinco estrellas. Hello, my name is Michaela Midgley and I am the owner, designer and maker behind RealmsEnd. I live in the heart of England in a small village called Weston on Trent. My dad was an engineer so I grew up in a very creative household, with lots of DIY. After finishing school I worked as a hairdresser for nearly six years before leaving to set up a shop. I loved the creativity that came with hairdressing however it was no longer right for me.
I had recently added my first dreadlock and had just stepped into the magical world of dreadlock accessories. I came across some incredibly beautiful dreadlock jewellery which inspired me to start making my own. At first I was also making macrame plant hangers and painting stones but quickly gravitated towards making just dreadlock accessories. I loved the idea that I could simply bend the wire into whatever shape I wanted, the possibilities were endless! After a few weeks of opening, RealmsEnd had its first sale. Running RealmsEnd has been an incredible journey with lessons to learn and obstacles to overcome. But thanks to all of the amazing support and wonderfully kind comments, I have enjoyed every step of it.
Now my one dreadlock has become eight perfectly imperfect beauties! I love being in nature and make every bead sat at my desk with a wonderful natural view. RealmsEnd has now been going for over three years, sent over 2000 dreadlock accessories to unique individuals all over the world and earned over 250 five star reviews. I am immensely grateful for all of the support and am so exited for what is to come.
