Además de la moda vintage genuina y los accesorios desde los años 30 hasta finales de los 70, Red Ruby Vintage utiliza telas vintage genuinas, patrones y adornos acumulados o heredados tanto de mi madre como de mi abuela (más de 90 años de coleccionismo). Estos tesoros se convierten en vestidos fielmente reproducidos en telas vintage. Ocasionalmente también se utilizan telas más modernas con un aspecto vintage.
Las telas vintage y los patrones de papel se compran en todo el mundo.
Duplicar un patrón de tela y vestido es raro y nada se repite exactamente. El beneficio de esto es que los clientes tengan una prenda ONE ONLY.
La costura se realiza a la manera de la vieja escuela: no se usa bloqueo excesivo, las costuras se giran y se cosen planas, y todas tienen dobladillos cosidos a mano y detalles de acabado.
Hago todo mi propio corte y costura y toda mi propia caza, recolección y abastecimiento, trabajando en la inspiración en lugar de un horario.

As well as genuine vintage fashion and accessories from the 30's thru to the late 70's, Red Ruby Vintage uses genuine vintage fabric, patterns and trims accumulated or inherited from both my mother and grandmother ( over 90 years worth of collecting). These treasures are made into faithfully reproduced dresses in vintage fabrics. Occasionally more modern fabrics with a vintage look are also used.
Vintage fabrics and paper patterns are bought from all over the world.
Duplicating a fabric and dress pattern is rare and nothing is exactly repeated. The benefit of this is for customers to have a ONE ONLY garment.
Sewing is done the old school way - no over-locking is used, seams are turned and stitched flat, and all have hand sewn hems and finishing details.
I do all my own cutting and sewing and all my own hunting, gathering and sourcing, working on inspiration rather than a schedule.
