Hi, I'm Lya.

My story began in a small coastal village, in a room that always smelled faintly of lavender and old paper. Since I was a little girl, my hands have been my voice. I was fascinated by the way a piece of fabric could transform into something magical.

I don't just 'make' dresses; I pour my soul into them. Every dress at 'Saffron Wander' is meticulously handcrafted by me, here in my sun-drenched atelier. I spend weeks sourcing the softest, natural linens and carefully stitching intricate laces that catch the light, just as my grandmother taught me. Each flowing, ethereal design is imbued with the spirit of the free-spirited wanderers and the quiet beauty of the wild landscapes that inspire me.

My dream was never just to sell clothes. It was to share a piece of my heart. I wanted to create garments that would find their way to other dreamers and free spirits across the world, dresses that would be part of their stories, their adventures, and their dances on quiet beaches.

I hesitated for a long time, worried my small creations wouldn't find their place. But then I realized that true beauty lies in the imperfect, soulful quality of something made with love. So I finally took the leap and opened this little shop.
