Durante años hacía cosas usando las conchas marinas que encontraba en diferentes playas. Hacía regalos o cosas para compartir con mis amigos y familiares. Recibiría muchos cumplidos y solicitudes de más. Sin embargo, criando a mi familia, trabajando, siendo voluntaria y simplemente la vida misma, no tuve mucho tiempo para dedicar a esta pasión por crear.
Al entrar en la segunda mitad de mi vida experimenté varios cambios en la vida, mis hijos crecían muy rápido y me encontré buscando un nuevo camino.
Con el apoyo y el aliento de mis amigos y familiares, decidí comenzar mi propio negocio haciendo lo que amaba hacer. Crear, diseñar, reutilizar,
Entonces, aquí comenzó Shell We Sea Designs. No tenía mucho conocimiento minorista (pero seguro que sabía cómo comprar) estando en el extremo del cliente de las ventas durante tanto tiempo, sabía que quería tratar a mis clientes de la misma manera que quiero ser tratado. .
Ha sido muy satisfactorio en muchos sentidos y me siento relajado porque hago lo que amo hacer. Ha sido muy emocionante conocer a tanta gente de tantas áreas.
Finalmente tengo la capacidad de hacer mis diseños para una población más grande que el área de Wilmington, Carolina del Norte.

For years I would make things using the seashells I found on different beaches. I would make gifts or things to share with my friends and family. I would get many compliments and requests for more. However, raising my family, working, volunteering and just life itself, I didn't have much time to devote to this passion to create.
Going into the second half of my life I experienced several life changes, my children were growing up so fast and I found myself looking for a new path.
With the support and encouragement of my friends and family, I decided to start my own business doing what I loved doing. Creating, designing, re-purposing,
So, here began Shell We Sea Designs. I didn't have a lot of retail knowledge (but I sure knew how to shop) being on the customer end of sales for so long, I knew I wanted to treat my customers the very same way I want to be treated. .
It has been so satisfying in so many ways and I feel relaxed because I do what I love doing. It has been so exciting meeting so many people from so many areas.
I finally have the ability to do my designs for a larger population then the Wilmington, NC area.
