Two Best Friends, One Big Leap of Faith
Kindred Co. comenzó con un simple "¿por qué no?".
Nos conocimos trabajando en nuestras respectivas empresas y rápidamente nos hicimos mejores amigas gracias a nuestra fe en Dios, nuestros tesoros vintage y nuestra afición por ir de compras de antigüedades. Un día, durante la pausa del almuerzo en la playa, empezamos a hablar de cómo podríamos transformar algo que nos encantaba en algo más.
Comenzamos con un pequeño puesto de venta repleto de objetos cuidadosamente seleccionados. Poco después, una oportunidad inesperada nos abrió las puertas de una tienda en el centro de Conway, Carolina del Sur.
Tras mucha oración, sentimos que Dios nos llamaba a dar el salto. Dejamos nuestros trabajos corporativos y abrimos The Kindred Co.
Hoy en día, dedicamos nuestros días a buscar piezas con carácter, artesanía y una historia que contar. Nos encanta lo vintage porque un hogar lleno de objetos antiguos y de segunda mano se siente diferente. Se siente personal. Es algo coleccionado, no copiado.
Creemos que los objetos que traes a tu hogar no tienen por qué ser nuevos para sentirse hermosos. A veces, las piezas con un poco de antigüedad, desgaste e historia son las que hacen que un espacio refleje tu personalidad.
Nuestra tienda de Etsy es una extensión de nuestra pequeña tienda física, lo que nos da la oportunidad de enviar las piezas que encontramos en Conway a hogares mucho más allá de Carolina del Sur.
Cada artículo es seleccionado y obtenido individualmente por nosotros, y dado que la mayoría de lo que ofrecemos es vintage, muchas piezas son verdaderamente únicas.
Estamos agradecidos de que estés aquí, y aún más agradecidos de poder darles un nuevo hogar y una nueva etapa a objetos muy queridos.

The Kindred Co. started with a simple “why not?”
We met while working our corporate jobs and quickly became best friends over a shared love for God, vintage treasures, and spending our free time antique shopping. One day on a lunch break at the beach, we started talking about what it might look like to turn something we loved into something more.
We began with a small vendor booth filled with carefully collected finds. Not long after, an unexpected opportunity opened the door to a storefront in downtown Conway, South Carolina.
After a lot of prayer, we felt God calling us to take the leap. We left our corporate jobs and opened The Kindred Co.
Today, we spend our days searching for pieces with character, craftsmanship, and a story. We love vintage because a home filled with old and secondhand pieces feels different. It feels personal. Collected rather than copied.
We believe the things you bring into your home don’t have to be brand new to feel beautiful. Sometimes the pieces with a little age, wear, and history are the ones that make a space feel most like you.
Our Etsy shop is an extension of our little storefront, giving us the chance to send the pieces we find in Conway to homes far beyond South Carolina.
Every item is individually sourced and selected by us, and because most of what we carry is vintage, many pieces are truly one of a kind.
