I'm Montgomery Ostrander. I founded Discovery Science (discovery-science.com) in 2020, and I hold a Master of Social Work. Underneath both of those is a lifelong fascination with how people have practiced ritual: the clay tablets of Uruk, the magic squares of Renaissance scholars, and the seals copied by hand into 17th-century grimoires.
SigilAndWing is where that fascination becomes wearable art. Each design starts from a public-domain historical source: Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, the Lemegeton (Lesser Key of Solomon), and Mesopotamian iconography such as the kudurru boundary stones. I redraw each one in clean gold line work. The pieces are made as art and history. They aren't talismans, and we make no claims about what they do.
