How we got here.....
Simplistic Geek is a range of unique, imaginative apparel designs inspired by your favorite fictional characters from Comic Books, TV shows and movies.
In 2014, the Husband and Wife team behind a Screen printing company in Gatlinburg, TN, realized that there was nothing different, or 'clever' behind the apparel designs that saturated the market at comic cons and fan expos. Everything on sale looked alike, and was usually overpriced, and available at a local big box retailer.
Using their combined imaginations and love of all things 'geek', They set about brainstorming a different slant on the fan-shirt designs that were readily available. Very quickly their nerdy-ness took over, and Simplistic Geek was born.
Inspired by fictional characters, and the popularity of 'vintage / varsity' style apparel, They created The Scholars Collections - imaginary schools, majors, clubs, teams and extra curricular activities, and combined them with the dates that these characters first appeared in comic books, tv shows or movies to create a believable Varsity style shirt, that your fellow fans will make a connection with and envy. Along with those designs, there are Simplistic Silhouettes that show your favorite characters in a totally unique way and The Surname Collection which uses the last name of the Character to create a different style of shirt. Simplistic Geek have a large range for all fandoms.
