How this all came to be...it's actually fairly straight forward.
I'm fond of skeleton watches and decided to get myself a few mechanical themed cufflinks to complement several outfits. After shopping around I couldn't really find any that appealed to me, so I made my own watch cufflinks. Things have definitely snowballed from there...
As my desire for growing a private collection was quenched I was looking for an excuse to continue having fun creating...hence my online presence.
Although I incorporate a variety of ingredients into my collections I especially enjoy conjuring accessories adorned with parts upcycled from vintage and antique watches and clocks. Some of my pieces have a hint of casual elegance while others are flat out exuberant. As my accessories became more diversified I found myself experimenting with insect pieces...hence the name Steam-Sects. I've definitely caught the bug :).
