Studio Dies processes personal data based on the following legal bases:
1. Consent of the data subject
a) The customer has voluntarily provided the necessary personal data at all times. Studio Dies will never use this personal data without consent.

2. Data processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
a) Such as for placing and processing an order and payment, and sending a product. Name and address details are necessary when sending products and creating an invoice. Payment details are necessary to complete the order.

3. Data processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
a) Such as for tax payment. The data will be permanently deleted after the legal retention period of the tax authority: 5 years.

Processing activities of personal data:
1. Sales via webshop: the Etsy shop. Studio Dies uses Etsy as a webshop platform. Through social media and the Studio Dies website, you can access the Etsy shop. Etsy is a platform where you can directly buy unique items from sellers all over the world. You can find the Etsy privacy policy, Etsy terms of use, and Etsy buyer policy on the Etsy website.
a) By placing an order with Studio Dies through Etsy, you also need to agree to Etsy's privacy policy and terms of use during registration.
b) When making a payment via Etsy, your payment details are not visible to Studio Dies but are processed by Etsy. Additional information about this processing can be found here.
c) When placing an order via Etsy, your other personal data is visible to Studio Dies. These data are processed as indicated in the legal bases of this privacy statement.

2. Postal companies. Studio Dies works with PostNL. When an order is sent to a provided address, Studio Dies will need to provide the address to one of these postal companies.
