I'm Ragonda, I'm 23 years old and I would like to become an illustrator one day. I love being creative and it's my passion. In my spare time I draw, paint and also like to make watercolor paint. If you buy something in my shop you support my big dream of becoming an illustrator one day.
How did you get your shop name Ragonda?
What a good question! The Rover Shop, why the name? In addition to illustrating, roller skating, chatting with friends and drinking iced coffee, I also like to cuddle with my pet. A Meyer parrot that listens to the name Rover. He is my best friend and we are even very similar. I thought for a long time about the name for this Etsy shop and never came up with a good name. Ragonda is too hard to remember. Couldn't I do something with the name Rover? Yes! Rover also starts with an R, and Rover and I are very similar. We are both very stubborn, and can also be grumpy at times, we like socializing, getting cuddles, we like to talk and of course good food.
What materials do you use?
Oh, do you have an hour? ;) I love a lot of different materials. I love watercolor paint, colored pencil, gouache, acrylic paint, oil paint, soft pastels, pan pastel, digital drawing, mixed media, brush pens, ecoline, posca tripe etc. I don't have a medium that I stick to, variety is the key! This keeps illustrating so much fun, oh don't I feel like watercolor paint now? Then I'm going to make something with acrylic paint. Or I go crazy and mix everything together.
