My creative outlet
Well, I have always loved to make things. Ever since I was little I liked to sew, draw, crochet, cross stitch... you name it. My Aunt taught me how to sew a quilt when I was 10 years old. I was so pleased when it was finished that I wanted to do more. My parents around that time got together with the rest of my family and bought me a sewing machine. (Thank you Mom, Dad and everyone involved!) I had that machine for 10 years! Any reason I had to make something whether it was for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or just because, I did. (You should see my parents house around the holidays! I went nuts! There are items I made everywhere) This occupied a lot of my spare time growing up. When my daughter was born in 2005 it opened a door to a whole new variety of things that I could make... and I enjoyed each and every one. From making dresses to blankets to inventing some things that helped to simplify my tasks as a mom. I was first told about Etsy in 2008. After some planning and thinking, I opened shop here. I love what I do and can't imagine what I would do with myself if I stopped making and creating. I hope you enjoy my items and my shop!
