Mi historia:
A principios de mis 20 años trabajé en 2 trabajos a tiempo parcial (una tienda departamental y guardería) y también asistí a la universidad comunitaria para obtener un título en arte. Estaba constantemente en movimiento y nunca tuve tiempo de pensar en lo que NECESITABA o lo que MI CUERPO NECESITABA. Estaba constantemente cansada, nunca dormía completamente y tenía pesadillas horribles, esto me afectó mucho física y mentalmente. ¡Terminé renunciando a 1 trabajo, abandonando la universidad, durmiendo todo el tiempo y distanciándome de los demás! Pasaron años de este estilo de vida hasta que descubrí que en realidad tenía narcolepsia todo este tiempo.
Esta fue una gran llamada de atención para mí y luego sucedió COVID: estando atrapado en casa durante unos meses enfocándome en mi salud física y mental, aprendí mucho sobre lo que quería de la vida, lo que era importante para mí y quién importaba más. ¡Prometí que saldría de la cuarentena como una mujer cambiada! ¡HICE PRECISAMENTE ESO!
- Creé mi primer libro para colorear para adultos
- Legalmente creado Taiylord CHAOS LLC para ser MI PROPIO JEFE y crear un programa basado en mis necesidades (Narcolepsy es extremadamente agotador)
- Practicaba la oración y la meditación al menos una vez al día
- comencé a hablar conmigo mismo un poco más amable con afirmaciones diarias
- ponerme a mí mismo primero, porque yo soy el que más importa
- Creación de relaciones más estrechas
- Moviendo mi cuerpo

¡Finalmente me estoy volviendo mucho más feliz y satisfecho con mi vida! Todo se lo debo a reducir la velocidad y oler las flores :)

My Story:
In my early 20s I worked 2 part time jobs (a department store & daycare) also attended community college for an art degree. I was constantly on the go and never had time to think about what I NEEDED or what MY BODY NEEDED. I was constantly tired, never getting a full rested sleep, and having awful nightmares - this took a hard toll on me physically and mentally. I ended up quitting 1 job, dropping out of college, sleeping all the time and distancing myself from others ! It took years of this lifestyle till I found out I actually had Narcolepsy all this time.
This was a huge wake up call for me & then COVID happened - being stuck at home for a few months focusing on my physical and mental health, I learned so much about what I wanted out of life, what was important to me, and who mattered most. I promised I would come out of quarantine a changed woman ! I DID JUST THAT !
- I created my first adult coloring book
- Legally created Taiylord CHAOS LLC to be MY OWN BOSS and create a scheduled based on my needs (Narcolepsy is extremely exhausting)
- Practiced praying and meditating at least once a day
- started to talk to myself a little nicer with daily affirmations
- put myself first, because I matter most
- Created closer relationships
- Moving my body

I’m finally becoming much happier and fulfilled with my life ! I owe it all to slowing down and smelling the flowers :)
