Una lunga strada
A long road
Ho fatto molte cose nella mia vita, dalla pittura personalizzata su auto e furgoni al possesso di una sala da biliardo. Dipingevo nei giorni del van-in e ho vinto numerosi premi per il mio lavoro. Ho installato stereo automobilistici di fascia alta per le star del cinema e i loro agenti. Prodotto sport di tiro per ESPN e TV via cavo. L'elenco è lungo sulle mie numerose attività, tutte apprezzate a me tranne una. Vent'anni fa ho iniziato a fare graphic design che mi ha permesso di costruire siti web. Per i primi anni è stato piacevole, sono stato creativo. Tuttavia, mi ha portato alla programmazione che mi ha appena strappato via l'artista, ma ero bloccato. Poi mi sono ammalato molto, il mio fegato stava morendo. Ho trascorso la maggior parte del 2016/2017 in ospedale. Alla fine sono guarito abbastanza da entrare nella lista dei trapianti di fegato e successivamente ho ottenuto un nuovo fegato. Sono un uomo molto fortunato.
Avendo perso la mia attività web ho deciso che era una buona cosa. Mi stava uccidendo, anche se più lentamente del mio fegato. Intorno a maggio del 2018 avevo bisogno di fare qualcosa, avevo bisogno di lavorare di nuovo. Avendo ricevuto una nuova prospettiva di vita ho deciso di trovare qualcosa che avrebbe ridato la mia creatività, avevo bisogno di divertirmi a lavorare di nuovo, era passato molto tempo. Inserisci legno, resina e vernice. Non vedo l'ora ogni giorno di progettare qualcosa di nuovo. Non ho ancora trovato la mia nicchia ma ogni giorno è un'esperienza nuova. e sto lavorando per essere di nuovo felice.
Spero che vi piaccia il mio lavoro finora, è tutto un work in progress. Sono felice di essere vivo.

I have done many things in my life, from custom painting on cars and vans to owning a pool hall. I was painting in the van-in days and won multiple awards for my work. I installed high end automotive stereos for movie stars and their agents. Produced shooting sports for ESPN and cable TV. The list is long on my many businesses, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed except one. Twenty years ago I started doing graphic design which let into building websites. For the first few years it was enjoyable, I was being creative. It however led me into programming which just sapped the artist out of me, but I was stuck. Then I got very ill, my liver was dying. I spent most of 2016/2017 in the hospital. I finally got well enough to get on the liver transplant list and subsequently got a new liver. I am a very lucky man.
Having lost my web business I decided that it was a good thing. It was killing me, albeit slower than my liver. Around May of 2018 I needed to do something, needed to work again. Having been given a new lease on life I decided to find something that would get my creativity back, I needed to enjoy working again, it had been a long time. Enter wood, resin and paint. I look forward every day to design something new. I haven't found my niche yet but every day is a new experience. and am working on being happy again.
I hope you enjoy my work so far, it is all a work in progress. I am happy to be alive.
