Stavo prosperando nel teatro universitario quando il mio percorso "pianificato" è stato ostacolato da alcuni importanti problemi di salute, lasciandomi con la fibromialgia acuta, tra le altre cose. Troppo malato per passare molto tempo "su" ho iniziato a fare gioielli dal letto, come un nuovo hobby per aiutarmi a non perdere completamente la testa, dal momento che non potevo più lavorare. Ora sto lavorando per mettere insieme i miei talenti, insieme all'amore per la natura, le pietre e l'arte che mio padre mi ha insegnato, per aiutare a portare più bellezza e amore in tutto questo mondo turbolento. Il nome è Tether's End. (Un'altra dedica a mio padre; ha trascorso un breve periodo in pensione e lavorando sui suoi incredibili pezzi di ceramica, sotto il nome di azienda / negozio "Tether's End.")

La mia arte e il mio negozio sono il mio modo di onorare il mio defunto padre, la sua memoria e tutto ciò che mi ha insegnato durante gli anni che abbiamo trascorso insieme; utilizzando il mio talento e la mia passione per l'arte e la natura sto creando un percorso tutto mio, che permette i singhiozzi imprevedibili nella mia salute. Mi piace condividere la mia storia, nella speranza di ispirare almeno UNA persona che si sente sopraffatta e incapace di reclamare l'indipendenza. Lo scopo del nostro negozio e dei nostri articoli è quello di portare più bellezza attraverso la gentilezza, così come attraverso bellissimi pezzi realizzati con i preziosi doni di bellezza della natura, utilizzando le abilità che ho imparato nel corso della vita; portando disegni unici, informazioni interessanti sulle pietre, così come pezzi di alta qualità, ognuno realizzato a mano con amore e cura. Non vediamo l'ora di portarti alcuni dei nostri disegni all'uncinetto, così come altri nuovi pezzi, disegni e articoli nel nostro negozio!

I was thriving in college theatre when my 'planned' path was thwarted by some major health issues, leaving me with acute fibromyalgia, among other things. Too ill to spend much time "up" I started making jewelry from bed, as a new hobby to help keep me from completely losing my mind, since I couldn't work anymore. I am now working to put together my talents, along with the love of nature, stones, and art that my Dad taught me, to help bring more beauty and love into this all to turbulent world. The name is Tether's End. (Another dedication to my Dad; he spent a brief time retired and working on his incredible ceramics pieces, under the company/shop name "Tether's End.")

My art and my shop are my way of honoring my late father, his memory, and all that he taught me during the years we spent together; by utilizing my talents and passion for art and nature I am creating a path of my own, one that allows for the unpredictable hiccups in my health. I enjoy sharing my story, in hope of inspiring at least ONE person who feels overwhelmed and incapable to reclaim independence. The purpose of our shop and our items is to bring more beauty through kindness, as well as through beautiful pieces made with nature's own precious gifts of beauty, utilizing the skills I have learned throughout life; bringing unique designs, interesting information about stones, as well as high-quality pieces, each handcrafted with love and care.
