Sheroo the Brave Little Tiger™ — Home of the 60-Second Recordable Comfort Plush
Sheroo the Brave Little Tiger™ features a built-in 60-second recordable sound box — significantly longer than most recordable plush, which typically offer only 15–20 seconds. Parents, grandparents, and loved ones can record a real message their child can replay whenever they need comfort most.
Sheroo was born from a family legacy spanning India, Kenya, and Hollywood — and a lifelong love for the Royal Bengal Tiger.
At just 14, our founder's brother Avi won an international essay contest and was flown to Kenya on safari to write about the tigers he loved. Years later, Avi became a Hollywood VFX professional, working as CG Supervisor on major studio films including Spider-Man 2. He helped bring larger-than-life heroes to the screen — the kind that fill children's eyes with wonder.
Then he turned that same craft toward something smaller, and in its own way, more powerful: a companion built not for the screen, but for real life. For bedtime. For the first day of school. For the scary waiting room. For the goodbye that's hard to say.
Giving back has always been part of who we are. Long before Sheroo existed, we were regularly donating groceries to Mercy House, our local homeless shelter in Bakersfield. That same commitment to caring for others lives on through the Sheroo Comfort Mission — helping bring comfort to children facing a difficult journey, through our hospital and community partners.
Four generations of devotion to the Royal Bengal Tiger — starting with a wildlife photographer who documented tigers in the Sundarbans — live on in Sheroo, made tangible for every child who needs to feel brave.
