The Aldea Carvers is a family group and the grown boys help their father gather wood from the forested areas of the volcanic mountains near their home and then carve backstrap looms.

Artesana's Ixkoq'a are a hardworking group of 27 women of whom many are single mothers. The wages are needed in order to support their families because they have no other income.

Artesana's T'zaput is a group of 17 men and women who do beautiful backstrap weaving and foot loom weaving. Their Fair Trade earnings from Education And More enables them to support their families and educate their children.

Mujeres Juaneras is a group of women who weave on backstrap looms and also sew many of our purses for us. The Fair Trade wages they receive from Education And More helps them to support their families.

Palopo Weavers
Guatemala
The Palopo Weavers are master weavers on the backstrap loom and foot pedal loom and weave many of our scarves. They were devastated by a tropical storm 5 years ago and lost family members, 3 of their homes and all of their workshop in mud slides.

Tejedoras Chuchi
Guatemala
Tejedoras Chuchi are from the Queche area of Guatemala and weave only on the backstrap loom. They live in extreme poverty and most of the women in the group are widows or single mothers. They weave napkins, scarves and clergy stoles for us.
