¡Hola! Soy Caroline, tengo 39 años y tengo un esposo y dos hijos de 7 y 5 años (totalmente superados en número). Creé The Monkey Box cuando estaba de baja por maternidad con mi primer hijo. Las cuotas de la guardería hubieran significado que regresara a casa con alrededor de £150 al mes y apenas verlo durante la semana, así que me puse a pensar y creé este pequeño negocio. Me resultó difícil encontrar productos inusuales y de excelente calidad en tiendas y supermercados de la calle principal. Quiero decir, son geniales, pero solo quería un poquito más, así que así es como surgió. Han pasado 7 años y todavía estoy aquí y me encanta tener la flexibilidad y hacer algo que amo y me apasiona. Hi! I am Caroline 39 and have a husband and 2 sons aged 7 and 5 (totally outnumbered) I set up The Monkey Box when on Maternity leave with my 1st son. Nursery fees would have meant I came home with about £150 a month and to barely see him during the week so I put my thinking cap on and created this little business. I found it hard to find excellent quality and unusual goods shopping in high street stores and supermarkets, I mean they are great but I just wanted that little bit extra so this is how it came about. 7 Years on and I am still here and loving having the flexibility and doing something I love and have a passion for.
