How It All Began
I started my shop some time after I quit my teaching career of 14 years. I had several other shops where I sold handmade items, but quickly felt the burnout from those shops as it became difficult to juggle managing the shop along with being a stay-at-home mom of 5 (and homeschool mom and homesteader!)
I would like to give a shout-out to 2020 for pushing me into the wonderful world of homeschool! From that push came another pull for me to create various resources that I needed for homeschool. A friend suggested that I open up an Etsy shop and offer my work as digital downloads, and I've been whittling away at prints ever since.
You'll find that my shop is eclectic yet at the core of it is the theme of home: HOMEschool. HOME decor, HOME organization, and now HOMEstead products as well!
I work when I can while juggling the day to day life of homeschooling and parenting as well as being a foster family, and someday hope to make this shop something more for our family, Lord willing.
