Thrive in Business werd opgericht door Clare Griffiths, FRSA in 2018, toen ze gefrustreerd raakte dat ze niet de juiste soort zakelijke ondersteuning en gemeenschap kon vinden die ze nodig had als vrouwelijke solopreneur. Omdat ze niet kon vinden wat ze wilde, besloot ze de oplossing zelf te creëren!
Hoewel er een aantal fantastische bedrijfsondersteunende programma's zijn voor vrouwelijke oprichters die een team willen opbouwen en hun bedrijf willen opschalen, zijn er maar heel weinig initiatieven voor vrouwelijke solopreneurs die hun eigen bedrijf willen laten groeien in termen van inkomsten, maar niet in termen van personeel, en die blij zijn om voor zichzelf te blijven werken als een bedrijf van één.
Als reactie hierop besloot Clare die leemte op te vullen door inspirerende, informatieve en praktische leer- en netwerkmogelijkheden te bieden voor vrouwelijke solopreneurs die - volgens haar sterk - onderbedeeld zijn in de wereld van bedrijfsondersteuning.
In de afgelopen jaren heeft Clare een reeks evenementen (persoonlijk en online) en praktische leermiddelen voor vrouwen in het bedrijfsleven ontwikkeld.
De praktische tools, sjablonen en leermiddelen die je in onze Etsy shop vindt, zijn allemaal gemaakt door Clare Griffiths, oprichter van Thrive in Business, en zijn gebaseerd op haar expertise en ervaring als ondernemerschapsopvoeder, innovatieadviseur en vrouwelijke oprichter.

Thrive in Business was founded by Clare Griffiths, FRSA in 2018, when she became frustrated that she couldn’t find the right kind of business support and community she needed as a female solopreneur. As she couldn’t find what she wanted, she decided to create the solution herself!
Whilst there are some fantastic business support programmes for female founders who want to build a team and scale their businesses, there are very few initiatives for female solopreneurs who want to grow their own business in terms of revenue, but not in terms of staff, and who are happy to remain working for themselves as a company of one.
In response to this, Clare decided to fill that gap by delivering inspiring, informative and practical learning and networking opportunities for female solopreneurs who - she strongly believes - are underserved in the world of business support.
Over the last few years, Clare has developed a range of events (in-person and online) and practical learning tools for women in business.
