Tongue In Chic Boutique was born to indulge the need to be unique, yet chic. We create our product with the intent to make people smile. Either with cheeky humor, unique elegance, or handmade vintage inspired pieces, as well as original print photography that captures your heart and feeds your soul.
It all started when I would take apart my old jewelry and put them together with new jewelry, thus turning said jewelry into completely different pieces. Which is something I do to this day and continue to do so with certain items in my shop. I really enjoyed making my own jewelry and got so many compliments on them, that I decided to share my love for creating unique one-of-a-kind pieces with all of you.
In making the jewelry I found that my passion and ideas started to flow beyond the jewelry making process, and into the home goods field. I specifically like to create custom works of decorative art made from re-purposed items from yard sales and thrift stores to ensure the individuality of each piece. Which include (but are not limited to); glass vases, frames, candle holders etc., that feature bronze lettering, delicate ribbon and lace accents, among other fine details, which personalizes each item to the consumer.
In addition to creating handmade products, I have discovered my life-long love of photography and am overjoyed to have the ability to share it with others. In hopes that the image I have captured in that moment is as inspiring and all-consuming to you, as I found it to be.
"You don’t have to give up anything—you can be chic but have a sense of humor. You can be timeless but fresh.”
