Hace años, yo (Jen) quería comenzar mi propio estudio de vidrio, pero no se concretó. Hace un par de años, mi esposo Ray y yo instalamos el horno en su garaje y comenzamos a hacer arte juntos. A los dos nos encantaba pescar con mosca en nuestro pequeño pueblo de montaña de Colorado. ¡Nos inspiramos en el hermoso paisaje!
Torris Creations comenzó haciendo pequeñas tiendas pop up en la ciudad, y ganó popularidad local. Después de ganar el primer y tercer lugar en una entrega de premios abierta en la categoría de vidrio, nos animaron a probar nuestro talento en eventos de arte locales.
A partir de estos eventos, numerosas personas han solicitado órdenes especiales a las que hemos obligado amorosamente,
Nos sentimos alentados de que nuestra ciudad haya mostrado tanto apoyo; así como muchos turistas que han comprado nuestras piezas.
Ray y yo decidimos utilizar Etsy para llegar a más personas para compartir nuestro amor por el arte del vidrio.
¡Ahora nos hemos mudado a la hermosa Florida! Seguimos experimentando con el vidrio; ¡ahora inspirándose en las increíbles aguas y aventuras aquí!
Years ago, I (Jen) wanted to start my own glass studio but it did not come into fruition. A couple years ago my husband Ray and I set up the kiln in their garage and began making art together. We both loved to fly fish in our Colorado small mountain town. We were inspired by the beautiful landscape!
Torris Creations started out doing small pop up shops in town, and gained local popularity. After winning first and third in an open awards show in the glass category, we were encouraged to try our talent out at local art events.
From these events we have had numerous people request special orders which we have lovingly obliged,
We feel encouraged that our town has shown such support; as well as many tourists that have purchased our pieces.
Ray and I decided to utilize Etsy to reach out to more people to share our love of glass art.
We have now moved to beautiful Florida! We continue to experiment with glass; now being inspired by the amazing waters and adventures here!
