Todavía recuerdo ese momento en que, cuando era niño, usé por primera vez un atuendo a juego con mi propia muñeca. ¡Estaba tan emocionado! ¡Me encantó! Pensé que era lo "más genial" poder igualar a mi dollie.
Por esa misma época, mi abuela comenzó a enseñarme a coser y yo también me enamoré de la costura. Utilicé patrones que ella tenía, y también trabajé en el diseño de algunas de mis propias prendas. Cuando estaba en la escuela secundaria, estaba tomando clases para aprender más técnicas de costura y cómo usar máquinas de coser y bordar más avanzadas.
Avance rápido hasta ahora: combino mi amor por coser y coleccionar muñecas en la fabricación de ropa de muñeca para que las niñas pequeñas disfruten con sus muñecas.

Cuando le di a mi sobrina de 6 años un atuendo de sirena para su muñeca, ella se lo puso emocionada en su muñeca de inmediato, luego me miró mientras extendía las manos y dijo: "Tía Tracy, no vayas de aquí para acá". Por qué me pregunté. "Es agua", me informó. ¡Luego tomó su muñeca y comenzó a hacerla "nadar" y hacer volteretas en el agua!

I still remember that moment when, as a child, I first wore an outfit to match my own doll. I was so excited! I loved it! I thought it was the "Coolest" thing to be able to match my dollie.
Around that same time, my grandmother started teaching me to sew and I fell in love with sewing, too. I used patterns she had, and also worked at designing some of my own clothes. By the time I was in High school I was taking classes to learn more sewing techniques and how to use more advanced sewing & embroidery machines.
Fast forward to now: I combine my love of sewing and collecting dolls into making doll clothes for little girls to enjoy with their dolls.
Here's an example of how creative a girl's imagination can be:
When I gave my 6 yr old niece a mermaid outfit for her doll, she excitedly put it on her doll right away, then looked at me as she stretched out her hands and said "Aunt Tracy, don't go from here to here." Why I wondered. "It's water." she informed me. Then she picked her doll up and began making it "swim" and do flips in the water!
