I now have three distinct segments to my store.

I am now posting a few pieces of “Coastal Art” I am creating with natural materials from our Pacific Northwest beaches.

I continue to make a variety of racks for kitchen storage.

Of course, Tye Works continues to offer handmade, durable, simple, and economical gear for rafting, camping, and wilderness outfitting. Years of testing and prototyping have resulted in our current group of products.

Smaller items go USPS Priority or First Class Mail. Larger items will primarily ship by UPS Ground.

This works amazingly well. It holds its pressure, once primed, so water is pumped easily. Well made of quality materials. We bought this for truck camping in a pop-up. We'd like a sink, but also want something we can remove easily, to have a truck again. This is a brilliant solution!

From Workshop to River

After nearly 20 years of kayaking (with a few rafting trips down the Middle Fork Salmon and an Alsek / Tatshenshini expedtion) this business was conceived in the aftermath of my first experience rowing the Grand Canyon. Tye Works is still in its infancy, yet is founded on the two decades of experience from my previous business career in architecture. I wanted to find a way to integrate my love of rivers and rafting, with my knowledge of materials, assemblies, and design.

As a small business, our singular goal is to provide excellent service and quality products. If you ever have any questions or comments, please call or email us.

From time to time we will be out on the rivers, testing new gear, and enjoying life. We will have a message on our email and phone, but please be patient. We will get back to you.
