Hello! I am so happy you are here. My little shop all started when I decided I wanted to get back into the job market but also wanted to make sure I could still do school pick up and make sure my kids (ages 7 and 4) were taken care of. I realized quickly that I was going to be hard-pressed to find a flexible job that would allow me to travel, take kids to and from their activities, and also continue to focus on my own health journey. With a love of design and after many hours of research, Unplayable Design Co. was born.
My husband has a full time desk job which he doesn't love. Ultimately, he would like to venture into the world of You Tube making videos related to Magic the Gathering and nerd things I don't quite understand. However, together, we have an affinity for board games and family fun. We have weekly game nights where the laughter and sarcasm are STRONG.
With that being said, the idea behind the shop name was a hope of eventually dipping our toes in the board game world. With accessories, apparel, and gag gifts galore, we hope to develop designs to enhance every game night. So, STAY TUNED! So much more is coming and so much more is in the works.
